I had the incredible opportunity to attend Ellen Lupton’s
workshop put on by the University of Utah’s AIGA group.
It was an incredible day getting to create soap packaging
from a perfume sample, mine being called “To See A
Flower”, and smelling exactly like the stem of a flower
smells when you cut it. I took this scent and used colors and
shapes that I found mimicked the smell, in order to create a
visual compelling package that gives viewers a peek into
what the soap smells like.
